Vietnam Targets $50B Textile Exports in 2026
Vietnam recorded $475 billion exports in 2025, marking a 17% YoY growth, and is targeting an additional ~$38 billion in 2026.
The textile and garment sector earned $46 billion in 2025 and has set an export target of $50 billion for 2026.
Export growth faces challenges from US reciprocal tariffs, stricter technical barriers, and the EU’s CBAM on selected products.
To offset pressures, major industries are restructuring early, focusing on supply chain strengthening, higher localisation, and better FTA utilisation.
Overall exports are expected to grow by 15–16% in 2026, supported by market expansion and a shift toward higher-value products.
