ICE December cotton futures closed at 65.68 cents/lb, up 0.14 cents, while March 2026 settled at 66.88 cents/lb (+0.15) and May 2026 at 68.02 cents/lb (+0.12).
Crude oil (WTI) stayed stable at $61.02/bbl, and the US Dollar Index rose to 99.707, making cotton costlier for global buyers.
Deliverable cotton stock on ICE remained unchanged at 13,749 bales as of Oct 31.
ICAC estimates 2025–26 global cotton production at 25,399,600 tons, with ending stocks rising to 16,227,900 tons (+2.5% YoY).
As of this morning (IST), Dec 2025 cotton traded at 65.62 cents/lb (−0.06), cash cotton at 63.18 (+0.14), and July 2026 at 69.10 (−0.03).
